Data journalism >Blue & Green Tomorrow
Emissions of carbon dioxide across the globe continue to soar despite widespread concerns over the longterm effects to our planet. China's output has exploded over the last decade and has recently overtaken those of the United States. However it still has some way to go before it becomes the most polluting nation per capita, a position currently being held by Saudi Arabia with the US and Australia not far behind. It's also interesting to compare the amount of GDP for every metric ton of carbon released to see who really is gaining the most benefit from our precious resources.
