||I've never really been very interested in sports or any unnecessary exercise, so walking is the only physical activity I currently participate in. Due to changes in circumstances I am now walking less than I was last year and this is one of the factors that has contributed to my recent weight gain. By wearing a pedometer I have been able to accurately record the number of steps I take each day and calculate how many miles this is equal to. Most of my walking done in the first half of the week is traveling to and from the University and accounts for a relatively small distance covered. I work part time in retail most weekends, in five of the eight Sundays shown here I was working for up to twelve hours and I can cover four or five miles on these days.
