Line graphs are well suited for many data sets, however I never feel personal weight charts work well in this format. They often appear upside down to me because I naturally assume a higher weight would be shown on a lower position on the chart. People gain weight around their sides and using a method to show data using lines positioned vertically just seems unnatural. This chart is my attempt to show my own body mass index in a more logical way. Bars spread further to show a greater body mass and their relation to the background shows whether I am classed as obese, overweight, ideal or underweight. Colours have been chosen to relate to my weigh, light colours for when I am lighter, dark for when I am heavier.
